This site is made in dedication to the best of the Star Wars episodes, episode V ; The Empire Strikes Back.
The darkest of episodes, yet the most colorful in variation,
when the jedi force still was a mystery, and best of all: shot on location in Norway.
The Beginning
A Star Destroyer moves through space, releasing Imperial probe robots from its underside.
One of these probes zooms toward the planet Hoth and lands on its ice-covered surface.
An explosion marks the point of impact.
Welcome to the Echo Rebel Base.
Welcome to Finse, Norway.
And this is the mission : You can walk in the battlefields of Hoth.
You can walk or ski the hills where the rebel snowspeeders covered the ground looking for Han and Luke.
You can imagine the tauntauns wraggle across the icy landscape. And you can of course freeze your
nuts off in the winter time.
It's holy ground.
